Our Decorative Design Range is our latest service we provide to our clients. In our effort to continue to provide the best service we can when it comes to Decorative Concrete.
While many of our projects are straight forward applications of our products, many of these landscapes can be hugely enhanced with just a touch of creative design.

So what is the Decorative Design Range?
It is a service we provide where we take your current design and apply both aesthetic and functional solutions to improve the overall look, flow and physical purpose of the landscape.
It ranges from subtle changes such as adding steppers or gardens, to large profile designs such as steps, detailed retaining. The designs also arent limited to physical atlerations to the design, but can include a mix and match of products within the surface to create unique and decorative pieces.

The Process
We start with a site assessment, here we will gather your landscape lay out and job requirements. The same standard procedure as any of our projects.
What happens next is we consider a large range of factors, focusing on two main elements.
How do we improve the aesthetic of the landscape with our concrete?
Let’s say the dominate colours of your house are White, Dark Grey and you have a red feature brick wall. You have already decided on a White based mix with grey aggregate, a good match.
We could add a red brick feature border through the middle of the driveway, creating a satisfying flow throughout the space. This border piece could also serve functionaly as a control joint between two large sections of concrete – improving the overall integrity of the slab and helping to comply with council specifications.
How do we navigate challenges posed by the enviroment by modifying our design?
There are many challenges which are often overlooked on our projects, wether it be a brand new build or bakcyard renovation. A flat concrete slab serves the purpose well, but the landscape can demand other solutions. The easiest example of this is a step leading up to a more elevated space, but it can go a lot further.
Steps can help to prevent water from getting into places you want to avoid, and well placed garden strips or steppers can provide drainage for rain run off.
Consultation and Envision
The next step is to consult with our client and walk them through the new vision for their design. We believe it is important to consider the overall look our client is trying to achieve and come up with ways to improve upon it.
We will walk through every element of the job and discuss the options. We can compare cost effectiveness and outlay the final design plan.
Finally, it is time to lay the concrete and watch the masterpiece come to life.
